I May Have Mooned a Neighbor (Again)

I have a habit of not making sure my curtains are pulled when I’m getting dressed, using the porta-potti, or anything of that nature.

It started right after I moved into the van. In 2015, Nikki traveled with me for several months. We were in St Augustine Florida when my first unintentional mooning happened… all because I had to use the porta-potti.

There are no rooms in my van, no interior walls, just one open space with curtains and window coverings for privacy.

I decided to risk it and not pull the front curtain. I’d just be quick and no one would notice.

After doing my thing, I stood up and bent down to grab my pants to pull them up… just as a guy walked by looking in the window.

Nikki laughed so hard I thought she was gonna burst… while I sheepishly tried to reclaim what little bit of dignity I had left.

Earlier today, I was changing clothes and had only put my shirt on when I got sidetracked by a text message. As I stood there checking my messages, I hadn’t realized I was standing with my exposed backside in perfect view thru an uncovered window.

Normally, I don’t worry about text messages or phone calls until I get around to them. But it was a challenging day of issues with Auntie M and there were a lot of back and forth messages and calls.

I don’t know how long I stood there before noticing the curtain wasn’t pulled. But I do know the neighbor had been outside not long before that... tinkering with his water spigot.

All I could do was close the curtain, hold my head high, and hope for the best.

There are worse things than accidentally mooning your neighbor. Right!?! 🌙

I didn’t even do this kind of stuff when I was a teenager 🤣
