Morning Campground Observations in Southeast Georgia

At a campground in southeastern Georgia, camping beneath the tall Georgia pines…

After a restful night’s sleep, I watch the row of Campers (who pulled in late yesterday) walk their dogs, pull in their slides, hitch up their rigs, and do the usual safety check (making sure everything is packed up, trailer lights are working, etc).

Then, without skipping a beat, they hop in their tow vehicles and head out… leaving the row empty.

There’s no activity in the rows beyond the now empty space. The longer term Campers haven’t come out of their rigs to see daylight yet.

This is a typical morning scene at many campgrounds. Some come and go overnight, some stay a few days, some stay longer or are permanent residents.

As for me, I’m here until tomorrow… with plans to enjoy a sunny Georgia day beneath the pines 🥰
